Leaders of Jinchuan District Government in Jinchang City, Gansu Province Visited Siiico Technology for Inspection and Exchange

On April 13th, a delegation led by Xu Guodong, member of the Standing Committee and Executive Deputy District Mayor of Jinchuan District, Jinchang City, Gansu Province, Li Jun, Deputy Director of the District Government Office, and Yang Liguo, Director of the District Agriculture and Rural Bureau, visited Siiico Technology Co., Ltd. for inspection and exchange. They were warmly received by Cao Xicheng, Executive General Manager of Siiico Technology's Agricultural Film, and Li Wenying, Deputy General Manager and Marketing Director.

During the discussion, Vice General Manager Li Wenying introduced to the delegation the company's independent intellectual property rights in the manufacturing and recycling of "high-strength, weather resistant, and easily recyclable plastic film (Gaobao film)" and its high-value utilization technology. The performance advantages of Gaobao film, such as full recovery, promotion of production increase, and high value reuse, can effectively solve the harm of agricultural film residues to agricultural production, food security, and ecological environment. Its application results in multiple areas have received unanimous praise. Both parties will discuss and exchange ideas on how to implement and promote the Gaobao film recycling industry chain in the local area, based on the agricultural development and use of agricultural films in Jinchuan District.

Jinchuan District is located at the eastern end of the Hexi Corridor in Gansu Province, mainly consisting of mountainous plains and Gobi oases. It is a major vegetable producing area on the Gansu Plateau, serving as a major source of vegetables for Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao. As of August 2022, Jinchuan District has established 9 large-scale cultivation demonstration bases for plateau summer vegetables, including a 10000 mu vegetable supply base for Hong Kong and a Xujiagou plateau summer vegetable base. 117400 mu of vegetables for Hong Kong, plateau summer vegetables, and facility vegetables have been planted.
